Hi.
Do they have Glotin reeds in U.S.A, or somewhere else but Holland? Do you think they are good reeds? What kind of reed do you use? Thanks! Doei! S.

Yes they do. I have known several people who used them. Basically most of the large mail order suppliers carry them.
My personal favorites, however, are regular Vandorens or Mitchell Luries.

I started playing clarinet with Glotin Gaia reeds; they served me fine. The major problem was getting them; the only reason I used them was because they were recommended to my son by Ted Oien, pricipal of the Detroit Symphony (he uses - or used, anyway - Glotin). My son didn't like them very much, so I inherited them.

I'm sure you can find several suppliers through mail order. Other than that, I don't know where else to get them as easy.
As for myself, I enjoy Vandoren Size 5s daily, but my absolute favorite reeds are Zondas (4s). For some reason, some of the less expensive mass produced reeds always get split in a day when I play on them, and that's because I play about 2 hours. I don't know how anyone else feels about that.
