Vandoren's newest mouthpiece the Vandoren M15!! from what i hear the M15 provides a darker sound than the M14 which i know provides a darker sound than the M13... all 3 are GREAT mouthpieces. I'm curious as to know other peoples response to the newest memeber of the M family line! I have yet to try it myself however i will be trying it soon!! YAY!! i recently got the M14 which was preceeded by the M13... i might as well keep with the tradition and get an M15... I love the profile 88 shape by the way!!

My son recently bought an M15 (his Christmas present from me) because he liked its sound.
We won't talk about how many mouthpieces he currently has (;^) - but he likes how each of them play in different situations.

As a mouhtpiece nut, I can honestly say they make wonderful Christmas tree/Channukah/Kwanza decorations.
"Why do clarinetists hate to play in the morning?"
"Because it's always darkest just before the dawn."

Matt, you are bad....
I actually play an M13 lyre, my husband did the work on it and it is wonderful. The tip on the regular 13s is too thick for my taste.
I am not that nuts about the M14s. The 15s are a definite improvement over them.
This .02 from a former Montanaro student....

To Anji: I'm confused. Are you inferring that Vandoren moutpieces are no good, or that clarinet mouthpieces in general are c**p?
If the latter, please let me know.
DLE.
