 Series 10B Selmer Paris Bell
Author: none

I have a Selmer Series 10G bought in 1975.

The letter 'L' is embossed on the back of the bell (opposite the logo). That letter appears to be factory-stamped.

The bell's dimensions are indistinguishable from the bell on my 10S that has no such marking.

Why is it there? What does this mean? How come that was done? (An answer to only one of these questions will satisfy me.)
