Ok, so I am new to a Bonade and am LOVING the sound projection. However.....it tends to slip up the mouthpiece, no matter now much I tighten it. It is an inverted. Any suggestions? I should try string however I don't have the patience or the time, haha!

Score it lightly with fine sandpaper (a turning motion around finger with paper around finger). These minute 'lateral' lined should keep it in place.

Another way to help it for the inverted ligs are to put slight pressure downward on it while tightening the screws. I found that helps a little bit, however the sanding trick does help much more. I recommend the latter.

A thin mouthpiece cushion can be affixed to the top of the mouthpiece under the screw mechanism to stop sliding as well.

I second Paul's advice. When these are new, the plating is a little slick and they will do this. Roughing it up slightly will give it the grip you need. It is the quickest and easiest solution.
Applying cork, leather, etc to the ligature or tape, patches or other to the mouthpiece are options, but can change the sound and response.

Slippage of the newer Bonade ligatures can be remedied as mentioned above by either of 4 different ways:
1. adding small pieces of masking (paper) tape to the inside of the bands which go around the mouthpiece.
2. the same as suggestion #1, but, instead gluing 2 or 4 thin pieces of cork around the inside of the bands. This may change (in some case even darken) the response/sound/tone quality of the ligature. Some players think this is a worthwhile experiment to try.
3. roughing up the inside of the surrounding bands with fine sandpaper.
4. using a few pieces of mouthpiece patch, around the mouthpiece, to help the ligature stay in place.

In a vein similar to others' suggestions, you can also glue thin strips of cork along the edges on either side of the opening in back (since you said yours is inverted). The edges of the Bonade inverted ligatures tend to make marks on the back of the mouthpiece anyway, so cork strips or a rubber patch on the back of the mouthpiece can protect from scratches as well.

At my teacher's suggestion a few years ago, I put a piece of black electrical tape on the back of the mouthpiece. The slippage stopped immediately. But as Ed said earlier in the thread, there may be a slight change in response, as a result. I haven't noticed any, though.
I change the tape regularly, when I clean the mouthpiece and replace the mouthpiece patch.
