I have the Yamaha 0.5mm clear soft type patch from Yamaha and after couple of weeks use the top layer peals off like it doesn't stand any heat or something like that. Does anyone else have this problem?
What type of mouthpiece patch in the 0.5mm range close to this one would you recommend?
BG and Runyon I don't like too much so they are not an option.

I can't remember the Brand name, but the clear patches that are made by 3M (stamped on back) last a long time and are very durable.

Personally I like the Bay/Leblanc patches. I use the 0.3mm ones and they usually last for several months before I replace them. Your mileage may vary.

I've been using Bay or BG or Vandoren thin, clear patches for many years and have never had any problems with those three brands.
