Bel Canto Penzel Mueller Clarinet

Have this clarinet - approximately 65 years old - Bel Canto, Penzel Mueller - wondering what it might be worth. Needs cleaning up etc...

There's not too much we can tell you without seeing it. I'd suggest a trip to your local instrument repair technician to have it looked over.

If you've read the other current thread on PM clarinets, you will know that the Bel Canto was the bottom of their product line. Recent completed eBay sales on PM clarinets of all models show a range of $6.50 - $75 (but the $6.50 clarinet had a broken key and the $75 clarinet was a higher-end model). Based on that info, I'd say the market value of your clarinet, in the condition you describe, is probably around $35-$50 if it has no major damage.
