 Buffet E14 clarinet
Author: Ian White

I've just seen a Buffet E14 made in France - I never knew they existed. Any ideas as to what it corresponds to in current models & period of manufacture?
Going by the serial number - ignoring the prefix D - it would appear to be from c 1960.
In looks it could be the equivalent of the E11 as it is wood & has headless pivot screws, the F#/C# key has the spring mounted on the post rather than on the key & the register key bush is the screw in type..
Could a change of number be associated with the move to manufacture in Germany.
Also I have never known anything about the C12 .

Any information on these would be gratefully appreciated.
