How do I change the plates? I cant find my instructions and I am not familiar with this ligature.

As you unscrew the ligature, apply pressure to the top or bottom of the plate, as if youre trying to push it off. Make sure you do this AS you are unscrewing it or you might bend the ligature. Hope this helps!

It is funny you mentioned that- I was just thinking of taking it to my machinist and have him make up some different plates.
I did try the four dots plate-all it did was dent my reed.
