Hi guys,
I'm not really sure how to find this out, so I thought I would ask here.
I live in Germany and would really like to try out some Yamaha CSG's. Does anyone know where, or how I would be able to do this?
I would of course want to try multiple instruments, and I think trying to get something sent from the states would be too expensive with shipping and VAT costs, especially since I'm not sure I would want to buy them, just looking for a proper test drive.
Any ideas? I live in Berlin, but would be willing to travel a little bit. . .but maybe not as far as Japan or the US. . .
Thanks a lot
Sacha

Try what I did. I went to a "Yamaha Dealer" (lots of them out there) that mostly offered guitars and student line wind instruments. I asked them to bring one in on a trial basis only. Now the tricky part is that you're asking them to have an instrument they most likely would never sell since their market is different. Of course, they probably have the ability to ship back to the main distribution point or another dealer (I think).
Anyway, it worked for me and the dealer since I bought mine on the spot!

Thanks Paul,
I don't know if that would work here, as the main market is for german clarinets. Maybe I'll try something like that though.
Chris,
Die Holzbläser doesn't have any CSGs although they do have some other yamaha clarinets, but only lower end models, I think.
Thanks
