Let's say I had a Bb Buffet Elite in excellent condition to sell... How much would one fetch these days in the UK?

Somewhere around the £1500-1800 mark I'd imagine.

I was just about to say that seemed rather cheap for an Eaton Elite but then realised Morrigan's post said Buffet! :D

Someone was selling one on Evil Bay about a month or so ago. Not sure what he ended up getting for it. You may want to search completed auctions.

A few classified ads in the UK:
1960 Lotus Elite (Type 14) Series One $79,000
1960 Lotus Elite £63,600
From Wikipedia:
"The first Elite or Lotus Type 14 was an ultra-light two-seater coupé, produced from 1958 to 1963.
Making its debut at the 1957 London Motor Car Show, Earls Court, the 14 spent a year in development, aided by "carefully selected racing customers" before going on sale.
The Elite's most distinctive feature was its highly innovative fiberglass monocoque construction, in which a stressed-skin unibody replaced the previously separate chassis and body components."
I'm sure you were asking about this car, not some boring clarinet. Eh?
