LOL--interesting. But wondering if the composer has been listening to too many percussion ensemble improvizations. Nonetheless, well played by all.

Ken- you've made that joke before. Repeating jokes doesn't make them funnier...

Actually, for me that's the thing about minimal music (and jokes for that matter)- if you don't like the sound of the basic thing that's being repeated, then you're not likely to enjoy the whole piece.

I enjoy New York Counterpoint, and thought you guys did a great job!

I like minimalist music as a genre, I know and like most of Reich's works, I enjoy New York Counterpoint and I still thought Ken's joke was funny.
