Man! Hopefully there will be a recording of it, considering I live on the exact opposite of the country LOL

There's a very nice (brief) sound clip of the second movement - who's playing? It sounds like it might be Morales, but where did they get the recording?

He's played it with Philadelphia before - I think it was his first season here. Maybe they used a concert recording from then.

His set up in the picture looks interesting- Selmer Privilege with a backun barrel perhaps, with the rods indicating a basset Clarinet lower joint.
His playing is lovely, less "throbbing" vibrato than usual. I enjoyed the phrasing and musicality.
Chris.

Phurster -
His setup at that time was Selmer Recitals with Backun barrels and bells. The rod running down the left side is for the low F/clarion C pitch correction mechanism that Selmer offers on the Recital and, on special order, for their other models.

I thought he played on his cocobolo Leblanc Legacy in solo concerts. But anyway, it's interesting to hear that clip. I hope he records it too, seeing as I live north of the border and probably won't ever hear Morales play live...
