Some considerable time back I saw a thread on modifications to the BB but can't find it with search.
I don't know when (or even if) any changes are planned but would like to offer my personal prime suggestion:-
Would it be possible to supply a field that can be checked once thread has been viewed to indicate this thread has been seen and is unlikely to be of personal interest in the future?
I don't know how much free time other viewers have to browse the board but for me I find that whilst many threads are very rewarding, there are plenty more which I just don't want to waste time on again.
Unfortunately the titles of some threads are ambiguous and it's not easy to recall just from the title that an updated thread is one of those "unwanted" reads.

This part will be the hardest since it will end up being a 90% rewrite of the forum code.
