Hmmm... Now would that be an average of 40,000 people, each with an average of 50 reads each, or an 50 faithful users, with about 40,000 reads apiece? -- Nate Zeien

Mark, every once in a while, people have an unusual opportunity to make a tremendous contribution to a cause. You may never become the principal clarinetist in a major orchestra, but I believe that your efforts have impacted more clarinet players than you will ever know. You have my congratulations, but most of all . . . my appreciation.

Three cheers for what Fred said. I learn something new here every week at age 52. How I would have loved a resource such as this one when I was a young student! I especially like the chance to communicate with clarinet players all over the world. I don't think there's any comparable collection of clarinet databases and information archives anywhere else.
I wouldn't be surprised if this site has a positive effect on kids maintaining a strong interest and sticking with the instrument ,instead of quitting after high school ,the way I did. Hope everyone will help out with the pledge drive -- IMHO this fine resource deserves our support.
