Just wanted to see if anyone had any information on the Vandoren M14 mouthpiece regarding when it was produced, how rare these really are (I've personally only seen one). Also, are they all 13 series or are there traditional blank M14's also?
Thanks.

Can't answer your more global questions definitively, but I own two of them, both Series 13 and bought about a year after the original M13 was placed on the market. I no longer see them advertised, so I assume they've been discontinued. Probably wasn't a big seller. It has a much longer curve and closer tip than any of the other M-series 13 facings, aimed, I guess, at players who like to use higher strength reeds. It's very similar, in fact, to a Gigliotti P facing. While it was available I only knew one player who used it.
