JD-

Someone may be able to correlate your serial number with a Selmer model, but it would be helpful if you would let us know some of the other markings besides the word, Selmer.

Used prices range from around $200 for a plastic Selmer Bundy, to over $1000 for the Selmer "Pro" models.

Well its made of wood. And on each section of the
clarinet it reads Selmer London Sterling Made in
France. Fred McKenzie wrote:-------------------------------James Dawson wrote:-------------------------------I'm trying to find out a rough value of my clarinet. As some one has alread said, it depends on the model (beginner, intermediate, or pro). If you find some one to appraise the horn, make sure that you and they know what is the basis. For example, if you are valuing it for sale, well a used instrument generally brings about 1/2 the normal discount price of a comparable new instrument. On the other hand, if it is for insurance purposes, you need to look at replacement value. These two "values" are normally very far apart.
