Can anyone recommend an Eb mouthpiece that's similar in dimensions to the Vandoren 2RV?

I'm not sure of the dimensions of the 5RV but check out the Grabner, Fobes or Smith mouthpieces. i've used all and they all give a much superior sound to the Van Doren. I used a van doren back in college. Good mouthpiece but not in a league with these others.

The Vandoren 2RV was re-designated as the 5RV several years ago. They make a 5RV Eb clarinet mouthpiece. It's not a bad starting point.

Definitely try a 5RV Eb - much easier to get on with than a B44.

(just don't get a 2CV by mistake...
...I mean, they're nice for getting you looked at, but not much good at blowing down and they don't really do 'dark and mellow'.
...sorry about that.)
Er, here are the 5RV dimensions anyway:
