Dear colleagues,
Someone knows about Heinrich Geuser (the teacher of "THE" Karl Leister)?
I like to see a picture or portrait (somewhat image) of him.
Someone happens to know where I can find it on internet?
Regards

Hi Oliver,
The person in the photo is not Heinrich Geuser, but rather he was the principal clarinettist before Karl Leister, I think his name is Alfred Buekner. He became 2nd clarinettist of the berliner philharmoniker after Karl Leister become the principal.

For those who are interested i have linked another photo of Heinrich Geuser.
As illustrated on the above mentioned WEB site Geuser played Louis Kolbe instruments (German system) till appr. 1966. He changed in this period due to the rising pitch requirements in the German orchestras (A= 444-445 Hz) to a set Fritz Graessel instruments from Nürnberg. This set solo instruments has the Oehler keywork with the 1919 Graessel patent b' improvement mechanism. I have linked a photo of this nice set clarinets which are still in excellent playing conditions.
Hans
