Vintage Student Clarinet
This clarinet is unbranded. The technician who repaired it based on the key work and serial number thought it might be an early Vito made by LeBlanc. Given the age (~40 years) it is probably made of Bakelite.
Model - Deluxe
Serial # - 496958
Mouthpiece - Woodwind Educator G8
Ligiture - France

Does anyone have another identity to suggest?
Also, from other posts I deduce the rubber G8 mouthpiece was well regarded. I don't suppose the plastic version is as well regarded.

It looks kinda Selmer USA-ish to me. I think the case is a Vito though.

Yep...looks like a Vito, constructed from ABS plastic. Clearly a student model, you might consider donating to a local middle school.
Study, Practice, Play and Enjoy.
