 Ligature mentioned

Hello everyone,
A while ago somebody posted a reply mentioning that they use a ligature which I am interested in, but i don't remember its name or topic. I've also tryed looking for it, but had no luck. The ligature is mostly made of some type of fabric or rubberized material, is black in color and looks similar to a rovner except for the way that it is tightened. It is also reversabile. I'm guessing each side plays differently because of the texture? It is avaiable for both sax and clarinet. Anybody know the name?

Thanks!

Rovner makes several models and at least one is reversible. Check out his web sight. ESP

In trying to identify a "Rovner-type" ligature, you might try a US patent search using Google Patents, asking for Rovner ligature, and then viewing the "Citations" where Rov was a reference. Those inventor's names might help. Luck, Don

Are you sure it is not the Evo model?

Consoli Ramplig also is a considerationbut are only reversible with the plastic reed support removed.
