 Burt Hara gets high praise--NYT

Burt Hara played the Bernstein Sonata with the Minnesota Orchestra, under Osmo Vanska. Todays NYTimes:

Well, he only got a one line mention in the review, although it was a very complementary reference. I don't really understand, though, what the point is of orchestrating the Bernstein Clarinet Sonata in the first place. Maybe I need to hear it with an orchestra, but it seems to me to work quite nicely with clarinet and piano.
