I just received my Weiner Music catalog and saw they are carrying their own clarinet. I don't know about the rest of you but my self-esteem isn't good enough to tell people my clarinet is a "weiner".
Just a bit of levity for a Saturday morning,
Jean

If you look at the WW/BW catalog you will see that they also market a line of flutes and clarinets under their name as well. A few months ago, the same question of arose as to who actually made these instruments.
With a simple phone call, and a bit of persistance on my part to the rep on the phone, the mystery was solved.
You can read the answer here:

I would suspect that the instruments from Fred Weiner are similar in origin...GBK

Thanks, Jean and GBK (now that you mention it, I recall that thread:) - can't think of a better time for a little levity than a Saturday morning
Not only would I be reluctant to answer that my horn is a Weiner, I'd be hard pressed to explain... "Hurry up, please, let's get this show over with!", my Weiner needs to go to the shop for readjustment every couple of hours.
...Here, have another doughnut.
