Last year I posted a question about the BC20 model Buffet. I wanted to let any other owners of this model know that I just found an answer on the forum for Buffet Crampon clarinets http://www.boosey.com/Instruments/Startframe.htm. The question was asked this year.
I'm an amateur clarinetist and I have a Buffet BC 20 model. I know the model is
discontinued.I would like to know more about this model:It is an intermediate or
professional model? Why and when was discontinued? Is there an actual model
with the same features?
--------------------------------------------------------------
This model has been discontinued about 15 years ago. The reason is a bore
design evolution. The BC 20 clarinet is the first level of our professional
instruments series. The equivalent would be the recent Buffet Crampon RC
clarinet.

I want to thank you so much for finding some information on the BC20. I also have one
and have been searching for info on it for some time. I'm so glad someone found something!!!
I love my BC20. I think it plays great. I used to play on a Master model and when I got my BC20 there
was a huge difference in tone quality.
How do you like yours? Feel free to email me.
