 Rico Reed Vitalizer

I just got a Rico Reed Vitalizer case, and I was wondering how far in to put the reeds. Should the base be sticking out a bit?

It's all about getting the case closed.

Don't put the reed in any further then to close the case as they will be easier to remove :)

There is a new design that I tested which I really like a lot. It's for all single reeds from Eb to Bass (and Saxes too) in any combination. The reeds are held by a black rubber band. Very easy to put in and remove too.

Best design yet. Not sure if it's hit the market yet. It's called "Rico Reed Case Clarinet & Sax"

(I'm one of the testers of that stuff)
