Hi Roger - don't know if I'm the Bob you addressed, but thank you anyway! I think Acker Bilk is owed thanks for keeping the faith and I will pass mine on. I believe he has returned to playing in small clubs with a small combo, and, his commercial recordings notwithstanding, he and Pete Fountain have given to a large audience its only chance to hear New Orleans clarinet by virtue of their wide acceptance.
