Hello,
I have various copies (for educational use!) of orchestra parts printed on normal-size sheets of paper. I would like to take the sheets of one piece and put them all together like a normal orchestra part, without any spine or otherwise bulky binding. I don't want to keep them in a 3-ring binder (bulky and puts holes in your music) nor do I want to put them in plastic sheeting (can't write on them).
Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't really want to make a double sheet (with pages 1 and 6 holding the inside pages) because it seems rather time-consuming, though I may have to.

You can also copy them 2 sheets to a page and double-sided on 11x17 paper and then fold them but it takes some planning to get things in the right order.

Technically you're violating copyright law, but nobody really cares if it's for educational use. I'd say that you should find [a good] Kinko's / Xerox / Staples place that knows their stuff. They should be able to copy AND enlarge the books to proper orchestra size in proper packing. Sure, you'll lose $75 in the process, but think of it as charging yourself per hour for what it would take at home.
