I was so thrilled to find out that the Swedish Radio P2 will broadcast a live concert from March 2008 with clarinet solist Martin Fröst this week on Thursday Sep. 11 at 7.30 pm CET, that I just had to make a post! One of the pieces played will be Sven-David Sandström's "A Desolate Wind - A Flighty Moment" composed especially for Martin Fröst. The concert should be available for online listeners for a month starting Thursday at:

Here's the concert program (in Swedish, but hopefully intelligable enough without translation. "Dur" means "Major" and "moll" means "minor").

Tack så hemskt mycket för den infon Annika! Det får jag inte missa. Jag ska själv framföra weber konserten med Södra Latins symfoniorkester i Tyskland om några veckor, så det är extra kul att han spelar den

While waiting for the concert from Malmö to get broadcast and uploaded online tomorrow, one could take the last opportunity and listen in on the London Albert Hall prom #67: Olivier Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time, where Martin Fröst is also playing.
