Does anyone know of any pieces for clarinet involving haiku as a subject or title?
Like the Katherine Hoover Haiku pieces for flute?
I need something similar in nature...thanks

Messiaen: Seven haiku (piano and orchestra)
Stravinsky: Three Japanese lyrics (chamber ensemble w/clarinets)
Stravinsky: Elegy for JFK (baritone and 3 clarinets)
There's also Leonid Hrabovsky: From Japanese haiku (tenor, piccolo, bassoon, xylophone)

William O. Smith composed Seven Haiku for Clarinet and Piano.
I've not played that, but other works by Smith are interesting,
as is the jazz clarinet work that he's done as Bill Smith with Dave Brubeck.
