Bostonian Metal Clarinet

I just bought a "Bostonian" metal clarinet on ebay, out of curiousity as much as anything.
It's actually a really nice instrument and pretty much in tune.
Does anybody know a thing about these instruments?
I love to find out more about it- approx. age ,manufacturer ect.
The only marking is on the bell: BOSTONIAN Made in USA.

When Boston or other "associated" names appear on metal cls, the first thot as to maker is Harry Bettoney who was [I believe] the largest-volume metal cl mfgrr of the early 1900's. Many of his cls show his patent number, 1,705,xxx of the 1930's, and the better ones [may] have his adjustable tuning barrel. Our M C expert, Jim Lande [and others], have put into our archives many "trade names", so I suggest a Search [above] to try to ascertain the name history. Luck, Don

It does have an adjustable barrel and the serial no.is K2612.
