 Register key adjustment problem
Author: saxlite

I have seen three brand new Selmer ( Bundy?) 1430P Bass clarinets all with the same problem- when you adjust the pinch Bb so that the Bb key opens enough to produce a clear tone, the register key opens a slight amount. If you adjust to prevent this, then the register key does not open enough for clear tones on long B and the other lower clarion notes . I have worked with every option I can think of, but this model seems to refuse to respond to normal adjustment techniques. Seems like a design problem. Any ideas? Thanks.
