 new music to learn.....

Does anyone suggest any music compositions (Mozart, Beethoven, etc...) that I might be able to play? I've been playing for about 3 years, but I'm not as good as I should be and I was thinking about something to impress the solo and ensemble judges in april. Thanx!

Mozart's Clarinet Quintet, arranged for Bb Clarinet and Piano, Third Movement. If this is too easy, try the Second Movement.

Roumanian Folk Dances for Clarinet and Piano, Bartok (for piano) arranged Szekely (for solo violin and piano), transcribed for Clarinet and Piano by Berkes.

Umm, lets see how about Shubert's Fantasy Piece, the second movement in the Mozart Concerto, the second in the Stamitz Concerto 3. Those are three I thought of right off hand.
But may i ask a wuestion. Why do you want to start on a Solo now that you won't preform until April of next ear unless it's super hard for your level of playing? I doubt that the piece I've mentioned are hardly going to take 8 months to prepare! :)

Well, I usually get bored with playing a piece after so long and then put it away reguadrdless of what its for and only take it out on occasion t make suire its still where it should be.

I agree with Sara!

When i play a piece too much i get bored of it because you hear so much of it, it becomes almost boring! Like a broken record!
Not everyone may agree, but the best way is to try and see!

Mr.Hite has a good guidance for each level:

p.s.It is required to be able to play any pieces by memory.
