I know this is a wide subject but any info would do!
I am about Grade 4/5 Standard (English music exam) and am wondering if anyone could suggest some music that sounds good to play!! By that i mean, famous Classical or Jazz pieces etc...

Hi! You might like to try out the 'Guest Spot' series. There a whole set of books with play-a-long CD, covering all aspects of playing: jazz, blues, show tunes, 90's hits etc. All my pupils love these books. they retail at just under £10 & are excellent value. I think they're published by IMP. Or, you might want to look at the 'Karaoke Classics' series. Similar thing, but classical music, & more expensive. (£16.99). The best place in England to buy wind music is June Emerson's. They're a mail order firm in Yorkshire - tel:01439 788324. Good luck & let me know how you get on!
