This topic has probably come up in the past, so forgive me.
I've played on Vandoren reeds (currently using V-12s) for 7 or 8 years now but I'd like to get some opinions on other reeds. I'm in the midst of a terrible reed funk right now, and just about every one I have is somewhat fuzzy, too bright, or just generally unstable. Granted, the weather has been unpredictable lately but I've been especially concerned about the dependability of my reeds because my jury was today.
Throughout the week I spend a good chunk of time working on reeds with mixed results. I've referred to handouts and I'm currently reading the chapter on reeds in David Pino's "The Clarinet and Clarinet Playing." I'm not quite ready to make my own reeds, so I've decided to survey all of you.
I'm still planning on purchasing another box of V-12 3.5s but I'd still like to explore a bit.
Can anyone recommend other top quality reeds?

An endless topic. Rico Grand Concert Select Evolution are OK and seem quite popular from reading this site; also Xilema work for me.

I give my vote also to Xilema very well balanced and sound much more flexible than V-12 but still as dark.
