Can anyone give me information about the marigaux clarinet, model symphonie rs? How good are these horns? I believe they are similar to the king-marigaux, model 351 but I am not sure. Any information will be appreciated.

There was no King "Marigaux 351" model in the 70s. The 351 is later (90s through 02) "Symphonie RS" model that has nothing to do with King.
There is no similarity between "Symphonie RS 351" and King "Marigaux" (350,355T) clarinets made is the 70s. "Symphonie RS 351" has weird keywork with rollers like Albert system clarinets.
IMO the 70s was the Golden Era for many clarinet manufacturers including 'SML'. When Mr. Marigaux past away (in the 70s) their clarinet business went straight down and under in 2002.
The name 'Marigaux' was strictly used for professional line of instruments but during 1980-2002 'SML' dropped other names and started labeling "Marigaux" every clarinet they made (or "Made by Marigaux", which is absurd)

Have you tried a 351 RS Symphonie model, Vytas, or anyone else? Apart from the funky keywork, what's the sound like?
