I've been asked to do 3rd clarinet (Eb, Bb/A) in the orchestral suite from Malcolm Arnold's film music - for some strange reason the last movement is on bass clarinet and looks like it has been swapped from the clarinet 4 part (bass, Bb/A) - the last movement in the clarinet 4 part has Eb clarinet, so I'm assuming it's just a publishing error.
Anyway, these things are being sorted out as I speak so my part will be all Eb, Bb/A throughout and no bass (likewise clarinet 4 will be all bass, Bb/A, and no Eb), but apart from some altissimo E-F# trills on Eb clarinet (I had a quick squint at the dots last night), is there anything tricky I really need to be looking out for?
The concert is in late November and I can only make a few rehearsals.
