Does anyone know of chorale type music for woodwind quintet? My wind quintet met last night and we are wanting to find something suitable to use as a warm up. I know there is plenty of brass chorale music but don't think any of us has time or inclination to rearrange it. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Marcia

David Moritz Michael (18th/19th Century Moravian) has two nice chorales in his "Wasserfahrt" for wind sextet.

Here is a link where you can download my transcription of the Chorale and one of the variations of Brahms' Variations on a Theme by Haydn. (PDF file)

If you look down the list there is a download for woodwind quintet. You are welcome to the duets and other ensembles, if you want. This is music I give to subscribers to a newsletter, but it is free for the taking.
