I have been told that an R13 has no markings other than ~~Buffet
Crampon Paris~~ and the words ~~Made in France~~. So NO model number means R13.
Please, let me know if this is correct.

No!
Any pro Buffet that has been made before 1955 is marked just like you described but they are not R13s

to tell for sure, we'd need the serial number - the first 3 digits should suffice, e.g., 123xxx
do you know its approximate age and history?

I'm being told it was made in 1982 and serial number is 229XXX.
Thank you for your response.

that serial number is consistent with a 1982 R-13

look under the lower joint right hand key cluster - is there a cutout in the wood under those 4 keys? (4 keys close together, lower right), directly underneath - if the wood is undercut, that would be confirming of an r-13
