Nifty MIDI player

Author: tictactux ★2017 Date:   2006-08-26 20:23 I stumbled over this nice free MIDI (well: Karaoke, but I don't sing along) player - it does what a midi player is supposed to do, but it can change tempo and pitch on the fly or mute or "solo" individual instruments. So I downloaded a piece for piano and oboe, muted the oboe, changed the pitch of the piano et voilà I have my own accompaniment. Perfect for those who occasionally download sheet music with midi files or use Lilypond etc to create scores and midi files. http://www.vanbasco.com/products.html (no affiliation whatsoever) I only wish it came with a "can we retry from bar xy" foot pedal switch. -- Ben
