Just played a concert (bass clarinet) with our Capitol City Band and one of the soprano clarinetists was raving about his Claripatch. He said got it because someone in Milwaukee, WI (USA) was using it and liking it. Just did a search on thsi website and came up with no hits. Soooooo......, have any of you used this product and--if so--how did it work for you??

Claripatch is a sponsor! See Accessories on the right.
(BTW - searching both here & on www.woodwind.org brings back 70 hits. Did you spell it correctly?)

Use the "search" link to search the BBoard, or make sure the "Clarinet BBoard" and "Klarinet mail list" boxes are checked.

Click the "Accessories" box to the right in of the replies in this area. In there you'll find a description of the Claripatch device. From what I gather it's a reed enhancement device for reeds that have lost their firmness due to age, too wet, etc and it enhances stacatto playing of notes.
