Hi All;
Michael Drapkin, a former student of mine, friend, and colleague, has a nice little video on youtube.com. Check it out. He's playing a HORA with a pro Band in upstate NY, with Charles Yassky, another NYC clarinetist conducting.

BTW: Michael's the author of those two famous Bass Clarinet Orchestral Excerpt Books, and many other interesting clarinet stuff.

Congratulations on teaching and supporting a very talented musician and person! I've had the wonderful opportunity of meeting Mr. Drapkin at the North Carolina School of the Arts when our wind ensemble premiered his piece "Suite of Old Yiddish Melodies" (the recording is probably on his website). Needless to say, he is not only a great composer and arranger but also a very proficient and talented clarinetist. Congratulations again!
