 mouthpiece back pressure

I am presently using a Ridenour mouthpiece. When mached up with the right reeds, it has a nice sound, but the back pressure is to high. Been thinking about trying a couple of MPC's with a more open tip. I have in mind n Otto link 7* and a Selmer C100 118. Anyone have exsperiance with these MPC's? Would like to know about the back pressure and are they dark or bright.
