I found an old clarinet at an estate sale and am trying to find information about it's "birthplace", age, etc. It is all silver, one piece, and has the words "Continental Clarion Made in the USA" and a little man blowing a trumpet and shapes like a family crest engraved on the end.
If anyone has any info about this clarinet I would sure appreciate your reply. Thank you. :>)

Not listed in "The New Langwill Index".

Probably one of the hundreds of different student metal clarinets that were so common at one time. As such it probably is not silver but either a nickel alloy (if one of the better ones) or brass plated with a nickel alloy if one of the more inexpensive ones.
