The more I learn, the more confused I get.
The best guess I have at the moment is that, immediately post war, instruments were imported with "Depose" (French for trademark) stenciled under the seal, then sometime in the mid to late 60's, the Series 9 came out. The Series 9 was one of the first to appear with low C extensions in numbers. After that, the Model 33 around '69 or '70.

picks up and we have the rest.
Revised Model 33 comes out in 1983, the 37 in 1995, and the 67 in 2005.
Also is there any way that we could start to compile serial number ranges on these guys? (Or identifying marks or features?)

I remember hearing that you kept a whole stable of basses. I was just poking fun at that fact while wondering if the Fobes went better with some than others.
