Well, I'm not going to post them up yet, but I wanted to put the idea in your heads. I'll be posting a picture of myself in this year's halloween costume this saturday (while playing the clarinet of course to make it relevant to the board!). I wouldn't mind some other pics of the same nature on this thread to accompany me.
Just putting it out there so you can think about whether you want the world seeing your pictures.
And before Mark or GBK has to say it, it should be apparant that if you're under 18 to get the permission of your caretakers, and if it's a costume that's probably not PG-13, it's probably not a good idea to put it hear (although personally I wouldn't mind seeing all those clarinet playing nurses and policewoman! )
I'll be back in a few days!

Lemme guess - you disguise yourself as an Indian Army Clarinet.
Don't forget the red thread around your tenon. ;-)

I was thinking of possible easily recognizeable clarinetists/clarinet related items to disguise myself as, but drew a blank. I didn't want to keep on answering to, "What are you?" which would have been inevitable.
And didn't have time to make a clarinet costume.
On a sidenote though, I have been toying with the idea of making some iron-on T-shirts with sayings such as, "I'm not a part of the Buffet mafia" or "Honk if you play an R13" something of those sorts . . . . .

How'bout something at cafepress.com?
"squeak if you love Al Bundy" or "my friends call me De Vito" or maybe "didn't we meet at the last all-you-can-squeak Buffet?" or "my piano screams for a Forte"
Oh my. My product manager past is haunting me... :-/

never knew about that site. Thanks. Looks like they have PLENTY of already printed clarinet T-shirts. As well a "kokopelli" T-shirt! Looks like I might not need that kokopelly tattoo on my chest after all!
