My friend needs help coming up with a new screen name for a new instant messenger account. She LOVES clarinets, and I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas.

Actually, I got to thinking, someone might take offense to that. Sorry if you do, but I would consider it a compliment!!

I would call myself that if I could do the name justice, but I don't play anywhere near her standard (though I do try to aim for that sound), and the name won't suit me too well as I'm a bloke.

There is a specialist/enthusiast/collector (delete as applicable) on eBay that goes by the name Muhlfeld-Kell.

I LOVE all these awesome names! My friend loves them too, but I might just take some of them....... ;-)

Oh, and I would NEVER take offense to being called a clarinet geek, it's my life! =)

One of my old clarinet teachers (and I'm not making this up) named her daughter Claire Annette.

My AIM name is my initials and then the word clarinet. But, I want a new one called Clari Potter. My name is Carrie and my last name is P*tt** and so it's close to Harry Potter one for my many loves. Also, Clari as in clarinet sounds very close to Carrie... yes... indeed.... =Clari Potter!
