Beethoven Choral Fantasy - Clarinets?

I know the Beethoven Choral Fantasy in C, Op. 80, is scored for 2 clarinets; are they Bb, A or C?

The clarinet team from the Spokane Sysmphony played their parts in the Choral Fantasy during the (music) Festival At Sanspoint a couple of weeks back, along with the wonderful Beet's 5th duet.

It the lust to emulate that kind of playing that keeps me in the house with my horn.
