Does anyone know who was the Principal clarinet at the time that they made the recording of Pictures at an Exhibition? I believe Bernstien conducted that recording. Thanks.

Check the date of the recording, Drucker joined the NYPO in 1948 at the age of 19. At that time the section was:
Robert McGinnis - principal
Stanley Drucker - assistant principal and Eb
Napolean Cerminara - 2nd clarinet
Leonard Schaller - bass clarinet
In the summer of 1960, McGinnis took a professorship at Indiana, retired from the NYPO and Drucker became principal.
If the Bernstein/NYPO recording is after 1960, it is Drucker...GBK

I have a very good recording of the NYPO playing Shostakovich symphony and it says it is from October 20, 1959. The clarinet player is great, so it is Robert McGinnis right?
Thanks.
