Simple problem, difficult solutions -- I sound airy. What should I do? .. Besides push with my tummy, because I already do that. :(

Try a 1/2 strength softer reed. If you are using a 3.5 try a 3.

Try adjusting your reed. Make sure it isn't too low from the tip, or too far over the tip. Also the adjustment of the ligature could be a problem, too high could squeeze the reed too tight.

This may sound silly, but try blowing less air through the instrument. There is a distinct difference between "pushing with your tummy" and blowing as much air thorugh the instrument as possible. I find that the richest tone comes using the least amount of air neccesary for the required dynamic. There will be a lot of people who tell you otherwise, but try it for yourself.
Of course, it could be that your reed is too hard/unbalanced for the mouthpiece you are using.
