I have a recording of Sabine Meyer playing a good number of the stamitz (Johann and karl) concertos, but no. 3 is my favorite and i would like to play it. I got the music for it (international, edited by drucker) but it is missing all the flourishes and cadenzas that Sabine played in the 3rd movement which I really like. I was wondering if anybody knows of a different publisher that has the ornamentations written in? I'd rather not have to listen to the recording over and over and transcribe it myself...way to fast!
thanks

I've been working on my own cadenzas for the 3rd. So far they sound pretty clunky.
Surprisingly, those in the performance part of the Music Minus One are better than fair --although not written into the clarinet part. They might provide some inspiration.
I'll be watching this thread along with you to see what else folks come up with.

Get yourself a copy of David Glazer's Karl Stamitz #3 in Bb major. The tempo is much more civilized and the cadenzas more traditional and pretty much what is in the Peters Edition 4859. I really enjoy his grace note work in the Romanze. My music collection has a number of recordings of the #3 and Sabine Meyer's, though technically awe inspiring, is musically the one I like the least.
