I am not a clarinet player, but I recently came upon an old clarinet while going through my grandparents estate. It is marked "Paul Dupre and Paris" and has a diamond shaped logo. It appears to be in it's original case. It looks old and it seems to be in pretty good shape. I can't find much info on this instrument in my web searches. Can anyone help me find out more about it and it's value? Thanks

Wow! What a read. I guess I'm not the first one to ask about the Dupre models. Mark, as I said, I'm not a horn player, do you think this clarinet is worth much? I took it in to the music shop I usually go to (mostly guitars and strings) and they couldn't help me with any info. If it has some value and can be played I'd like to sell it to someone who could use it.
[ Please take a moment to read the rules pertaining to buying and selling on the bulletin board. Thanks - GBK ]
